Essential Oils for Homeschooling

Essential oils have so many great benefits. If you’re finding you need a bit of focus, energy or memory aid during your homeschooling try these oil blends in your diffuser.

Focus:

Lemon
Wild Orange
Rosemary
Peppermint

Energy:

Pink Grapefruit
Lemon
Cinnamon
Rosemary
Ginger

Memory:

Basil
Rosemary
Cypress
Coriander

My favorite essential oil is Rosemary

Rosemary is one of the most versatile essential oils. It can be used for everything from preventing bug bites to getting rid of dandruff to pain relief. But it is also known to be useful in energy, concentration, focus and stamina. It has a lovely mint-pine smell and it blends really well with other scents – as you can see it’s in every category above. Another great blend is rosemary, clove, cinnamon and orange – which smells like Christmas.

Essential Oil Safety

Be sure to check safety guidelines when using essential oils especially if you are using them topically and with children. AromaWeb has some invaluable information on their website about many oils, their uses and safety.
