I might actually start doing Monday favs & freebies – I mean, everyone needs a boost on Mondays amiright? But, until I think up a clever name for it, it will be on Fridays. 😉

Onto the favs! Things I’m loving this week:

Elderberry Syrup and Propolis Spray

Back to school means back to germs (even if you’re homeschooling!) and let me tell you these two things are a MUST HAVE for cold & flu season.

Elderberry Syrup

The elderberry syrup alone has killed colds countless times for me. I’m very susceptible to germs and a couple times taking the elderberry syrup has completely driving the cold virus away. It’s amazing actually. I had severe bronchitis a couple years ago (hello, wet myself every time I coughed) and I’m terrified of getting it again and elderberry syrup has been a game-changer! At the first hint of a stuffed nose, sore throat or sinus pressure, I take 10ml of syrup and many times I’ve only had to take it once and my symptoms resolved.

Elderberry is packed with antioxidants and vitamins helping support your immune system, tame inflammation, lessen stress and protect your heart.²

Bee Propolis Spray

The propolis spray is made from propolis or “bee glue” which is what bees use in reconstructing their hive. I learned that depending on where the propolis has been harvested it can have a smokey flavor. The one I have kind of tastes like campfire & honey. But it is a mega antioxidant and has over 300 vitamins and minerals! I use it regularly to help keep my immune system supported, especially when I’m stressed.

Propolis and its extracts have numerous applications in treating various diseases due to its antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, antimycotic, antifungal, antiulcer, anticancer, and immunomodulatory properties.¹

Immune Support For Kids

You can find both of these products in dosages made just for kids. The elderberry syrup was purchased at our local grocery store, I’ve used Sambucol and Sambucus and both are great. Sambucus has soft gels & gummies- and both brands have a formula just for kids! Sambucol Black Elderberry – Kids 4 Oz(aff links) The propolis spray I bought on Amazon during their Prime Day sales, but it’s from Bee Keeper’s Naturals and they have a kids spray as well.
